World Golfers Championship and the Invitational are two separate tournaments played simultaneously and reach out to all golfers and give them the unique experience to participate in a fair and exciting game together with other participants from all around the world!
WGC: World Golfers Championship is an international golf tournament that begins with qualifiers around the world. For more than a decade WGC has given amateurs the thrill and prestige of a global championship event.
WGC complies with USGA and R&A amateur rules 4:2 (ii) as a team event, consisting of one qualified player from each of the following FIVE handicap flights: 0-5, 6-10, 11-15, 16-20 and 21-25.
WGI: The Invitational is played simultaneously as the WGC, but without qualification needed. Here amateurs meet friends and business contacts from around the world! Invite your business partner, key customer, spouse or sponsor and meet new friends and business contacts from around the world.
The Invitational is played as a two-person team event as well as individually in the following SIX handicap flights: 0-5, 6-10, 11-15, 16-20, 21-25 and 26-30.
